Classes

Sensitive to the individual and collective needs of each class, Dakshayini is able to improvise and tailor classes to accommodate students of all backgrounds and levels. She is skilled with designing creative, logical sequences that unfold naturally, allowing students to tap into their sense of rhythm and intuitive flow. Each pose of a sequence creates space for the next, while cyclical repetitions tie everything together so that students have a sense of what to expect.

 

Dakshayini offers yoga lessons for children and adults of all ages. She currently teaches at Children's Manor Montessori School, University of Maryland Baltimore (UMBC) recreation center, and Jayamangala School of Music and Dance. She offers group and private lessons.

About

Dakshayini is a certified yoga instructor from Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana (SVYASA) in Bangalore, India. She has been practicing and teaching yoga since 2013 in various settings, including schools, universities, and private lessons.
